Women’s Health Works
Health is shaped long before a patient walks into a clinic.
It is shaped in boardrooms, research environments, and workplaces — and in the conversations we either choose to have, or don't. When women are underrepresented in those spaces, women's health becomes under-researched, underfunded, and misunderstood.
That is exactly why WiLD Norway is proud to be an Ambassador for Women's Health Works — a national conference on women's health in the workplace.
This is not another event about gender equality in the abstract. It is a day packed with concrete tools, honest conversations, and people who actually want to do something about it.
Some numbers that cannot be ignored 👇
📊 Women have on average 9 years of poor health — 25% more than men
📊 Women's long-term sick leave costs society 59 billion NOK every year
📊 Over 30% of sick leave is linked to the work environment
Much of this is preventable. But not without knowledge. And not without will.
